Originally from Denmark, Nicky joined the Powell Peralta team in 1989.
He spent a lot of time on European tours, doing around 40-60 demos per year in Europe with various team skaters including Mike McGill, Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Ray Barbee, Frankie Hill, Ray Underhill, Bucky Lasek, and Tommy Toiminen.
His graphic was designed by Sean Cliver, inspired by a book on Polynesian art.
