Rap & Skate: The Perfect Fusion at Boardstyle

In 2019/2020, Boardstyle hosted events celebrating the intersection of rap and skateboarding, two urban cultures intrinsically connected by a spirit of rebellion and creativity.

Thanks to our collaboration with Elena, aka Exena, a contributor for Rapologia, we conducted exclusive interviews with key figures from the music and skate scenes.

Supa and Asher Kuno, with their project Mille Birre, shared their passion for both skateboarding and rap, emphasizing how these two disciplines are an authentic expression of the Italian underground scene.

Later, we had the honor of hosting Sandro Sù, a rapper from Termoli now based in Trieste, who presented his album "Rodney Mullen"—a tribute to the legendary skater who revolutionized street skating with the invention of fundamental tricks like the ollie and kickflip.

Comprising eight tracks, the album marks a shift from Sandro Sù’s previous work, embracing a more intimate and personal approach.
